✓ COMMUNITY SAFETY
Everyone deserves to be safe on their own streets, neighborhoods, and within city limits while you live, work, play, and learn. I will work with you, your family, and partners to ensure our city and neighborhoods improve quality of life for your children and mine.
✓ PUBLIC HEALTH AND HEALTH SERVICES
Whether you are born at our local hospital or outside of this city, we need healing. Access to affordable, culturally sensitive, preventive and early treatment health services and health promotion opportunities through multi-sector collaborations. Multicultural and bilingual programs should be invested.
✓ DEVELOPING COMMUNITY CAPACITY
Ensuring that government services and decision-making processes reflect the diversity of the community. Attract investors with modern jobs and tech training for all levels focusing on equity, inclusion, and belonging. We support companies and organizations that hire locally and provide full-time jobs with livable wages and good benefits.
✓ FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Economic development must benefit all residents; their hard earned tax dollars should be appropriated thoughtfully, strategically, with transparency. Continue to explain and build on improvements in the budget process, presentation of budget information, and communication with residents. City’s spending and budgeting must align with the daily living of our residents.
